Business Development Manager

Dawsongroup Energy Solutions is an emerging and innovative business unit within Dawsongroup plc, specialising in low carbon & renewable energy solutions for clients across the public & private sectors. We are experts is supporting clients to achieve their energy management, sustainability, decarbonisation and net zero ambitions.

We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager, to secure new contracts with clients, focusing in energy solutions for their benefits.

The ideal candidate will be from an energy sector background, more specifically in Sales, with Renewables or Generator experience. Areas of expertise that would be advantageous – Solar, Battery energy storage, EV Charging and Infrastructure, CHP, Onshore Wind, Heat Pumps, District Heating etc.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Identifying and engaging with potential and existing clients through a combination of networking, cold calling, and targeted outreach.
• Developing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organisations.
• Leading negotiations with clients to drive / secure new contracts, ensuring terms are favourable for both parties.
• Building new and maintaining existing customer relationships.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
