Job descriptionFull UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E). Have at least 1 year of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 3 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be accustomed to using a curtainside vehicle. The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Chesterfield area. We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver (CAT C+E) to join the team on days.
Hours : Monday to Friday, start times between 7am and 8am (average 10-hour shift).
Job Type : Temp to perm or permanent.
The role :
- Conducting bulk collections adhering to scheduled runs, involving 3-4 runs on average per day.
- Safely operating a Class 1 vehicle with curtain side trailers.
- Ensuring timely deliveries and collections according to the assigned routes.
- The role primarily focuses on pallet work with all fork on / fork off operations on a curtainsider.
