HGV Class 1 Driver

Are you an experienced HGV Driver looking for extra hours and extra income? We are recruiting for this general haulage post, working days Monday to Friday (weekend overtime available) to support our client based in Great Yarmouth.

The work is temporary, ongoing and offers an immediate start for the right person. The successful applicant will register with Driver Hire and undergo an induction with the client before commencing work.

Duties :

• Driving Class 1 vehicle on general haulage , making sure loads are secure and strapped
• Ensuring deliveries are completed in a safe and controlled manner
• Completing paperwork as required and adhering to all on site health and safety rules
• Keeping an accurate record of driving hours and working hours
• Must wear minimum PPE , Steel toecaps , Hi Vis, Hard hat

About you :

Full UK HGV 1 Driving Licence with current CPC and Digital Tacho card

Previous 1 year HGV driving (and held your licence for 1 year or more)

No more than 6 points on licence, and no CD, IN, DD or DR endorsement codes

Excellent knowledge of Driving Hours and WTR

Pay and benefits :

Weekly pay

14.00 per hour weekdays PAYE

19.00 per hour weekends PAYE

Holiday pay and pension enrolment

Free on-site parking
