Support Worker

Location : Stafford (ST16) - 5 min walk from Travis Perkins

Pay rate :  £11.55 per hour + £45 per sleep in

Full time role :   37.5 hours

Come and join a close-knit team supporting four young gentleman in a shared supported living home. We don’t wear uniforms (it's friendlier that way) but you must be prepared to roll up your sleeves to cook in the kitchen or tidy the house. Timekeeping is crucial, you should arrive on time, take your time to listen and take time to care.

You will also be supporting the gentleman with their personal care, medication, weekly budgeting, food shopping and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Taking the time to build trustworthy relationships and prompting are vital parts of this role. The gentleman are very active and love going out for long walks in town or the countryside, and attending regular sessions at the gym or swimming pool. Music is the big part of the home life - whether it's playing drums or guitar, you would be very welcome to join in!

What shifts are available?

  • 7 : 30am - 3pm / 3pm - 10.30pm or long days 7.30am - 10.30pm /  sleep in (required two sleep ins a week)
  • We’re looking for people with flexibility to work on a rota basis that includes a combination of weekdays and weekends
  • Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance - something we're very passionate about!
