  • What You’ll Be Doing :
  • Managing all infrastructure services and technology to ensure reliable, effective and scalable operation
  • Leading on architectural design and innovation to ensure continued development of new functionality using new and market-leading technologies
  • Supporting the development and workload of other DevOps Engineers, promoting best practices and development standards
  • Managing and optimising cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) for performance and reliability
  • Utilising AI services and tools extensively to support DevOps activities and processes, automating repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing services to support product development activities
  • Managing and improving robust CI / CD pipelines across all internal projects
  • Championing automation — using AI tools and smart scripts to eliminate repetitive tasks
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues across environments, improving uptime and resilience
  • Monitoring system security and performance and proactively managing updates and patches
  • Implementing security best practices across infrastructure and services
  • Collaborating across teams to define development environments and support testing and deployments
  • Documenting processes, procedures and system configurations
  • Staying ahead of the curve — evaluating emerging technologies and championing innovation
  • Communicating effectively with all stakeholders to gather and address technical and design requirements

We’re Looking for Someone Who :

  • Has 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar
  • Is confident managing cloud infrastructure, especially in AWS
  • Strong experience of CI / CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
  • Proficient with containerisation technologies, specifically Docker, Amazon ECS and ECR
  • Brings expertise in both relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Has experience with search (Elasticsearch) and caching technologies (Redis)
  • Has knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform
  • Has a strong understanding of networking (VPCs, SGs etc), firewalls, VPN, and DNS
  • Is familiar with monitoring tools such as Sentry, Grafana and CloudWatch
  • Has experience with version control systems (e.g. GitLab) and best practices for branching, merging, and versioning
  • Has knowledge and demonstratable experience using latest AI tooling and technology to automate DevOps processes
  • Is a collaborative problem-solver who thrives in cross-functional teams
  • Can self-manage across multiple workstreams and communicate clearly with stakeholders
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect etc)
  • Experience working with Amazon Connect or Kinesis
  • Experience of automated testing frameworks and code quality tools
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and related services
