About our Team :

You'll be joining our Architecture team, reporting to the Chief Technology Architect and working alongside Enterprise Architects to develop practical, future-proof technological solutions. The team operates within our Strategy, Governance, and Innovation group, which shapes Sage's technical future. We focus on aligning business strategy with technical implementation to design innovative solutions across the company.

Could you be our new Solutions Architect? Are you?

  • Experienced in solution architecture or related roles, with a proven record of designing and implementing effective solutions?
  • Proficient in at least one major technology stack, preferably Microsoft, with knowledge of others?
  • Familiar with cloud platforms, especially Azure, including security, compliance, and governance?
  • A strong analytical thinker with problem-solving skills, capable of breaking down business problems into technical components?
  • Able to work effectively independently and in remote team environments?
  • An excellent communicator for both technical and non-technical audiences?
  • Experienced in projects spanning multiple teams or departments?
  • Knowledgeable about current industry trends and emerging technologies?

Your new role :

As Solutions Architect, you will design strategic technical solutions that deliver business value and foster innovation, contributing to the evolution of Sage's technology landscape. You will bridge business strategy and technical execution by creating scalable, interoperable, secure, and stable architectures.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Designing and leading strategic solutions that translate business needs into scalable, integrated architectures aligned with Sage's vision
  • Collaborating with global business partners, delivery teams, and architecture colleagues, including travel to international offices
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to delivery teams and tech colleagues, ensuring architectural principles are followed
  • Exploring and advocating for AI technologies to drive innovation
  • Identifying technical debt and staying informed about new technologies
  • Participating in architectural reviews to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards and strategies
