Renowned for its partnerships with major industry players, the business consistently delivers high-quality projects on time and within budget.Role Summary : We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of major groundworks and roadworks schemes. This is a key position, requiring a proactive individual to ensure the safe, efficient, and successful execution of projects in line with client expectations.Key Responsibilities : Health & Safety Leadership : Promote and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing site safety protocols, conducting inductions, and ensuring correct use of PPEProject Delivery : Oversee projects from commencement to completion, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specificationTeam Management : Supervise on-site operatives and subcontractors, fostering a productive and collaborative working environmentClient Liaison : Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycleProcurement : Manage the timely procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and equipmentSite Audits : Carry out regular safety audits in line with company policy and proceduresRAMS and Planning : Prepare and implement Risk Assessment Method Statements and detailed project programmesRequired Qualifications and Experience : Degree or relevant qualification in Civil EngineeringProven experience as a Site Manager, particularly within groundworks and roadworks projectsSMSTS (5 Day), valid CSCS card, and First Aid certificationTemporary Works Co-ordinator / Supervisor certification (desirable)Strong project planning ability, with experience preparing both short- and long-term programmesProficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systemsSound commercial and contractual understanding within a civil engineering contextThorough knowledge of current health and safety regulationsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalFull, valid UK driving licenceBenefits : Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualificationsComprehensive benefits package including pension and healthcareChoice of company van or carApplication Process : If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply with your most recent CV.
