We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance department.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Clerk role will be :

• Receive and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Code and input invoices into the accounting system.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors within specified deadlines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
• Assist in month-end financial close procedures.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will have :

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar accountancy role.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues.
