Senior Occupational Therapist

Myn is recruiting on behalf of our long-term partner in the West Midlands for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join their Occupational Therapy Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to take on a senior role, supporting individuals of all ages with physical disabilities to maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

What Youll Do :

Provide functional assessments for people with physical disabilities, including complex paediatric cases, in both community and hospital settings.

Recommend and assess for specialist equipment and major adaptations to meet the complex needs of children and adults, promoting independence and well-being.

Use sound clinical judgement to develop and implement care packages, aids to daily living, and necessary adaptations based on individual assessments.

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to provide holistic support.

Offer supervision and support to a diverse team, including Student Occupational Therapists and apprentices.

Deliver training and coaching to staff members of varying grades, tailoring the approach to different learning styles.

Maintain accurate records, ensuring all assessments and recommendations meet health and social care standards.
