My client, a leading manufacturer is looking for an experienced Production Team Manager to support the Operations Manager at a growing business. The successful candidate will manage all shift processes, production, and work to health & safety & quality standards. This is a great role for a motivated individual with manufacturing experience to join a progressive business, both working with and developing a growing team.
Role Description
Deputise with the site Production Manager in their absence and supporting the Manufacturing Manager.Manage the daily plan provided by the demand team to meet overall production requirements using appropriate resources to each activity.Check of availability of materials for manufacturing plansEnsure finished goods are manufactured according to SOP’s and all activities comply with Quality & Environmental, Health & Safety Standards such as ISO9001, ISO 13485Full management of production process across areas such as packaging, freeze drying, and cartridge areasKeep the training program up to date for all staffManage any issues that have arisen in the production areaCoordinate effectively with internal departments on things such as new products, improvement projectsSkills and Qualifications
Experience working in an FMCG manufacturing environment, medical / pharma is highly beneficialTeam and people management experience, including managing performance.Ability to lead and develop teams, spot training and development opportunitiesManagement qualifications, desirableAbility to build relationship with key internal and external stakeholdersCompany Information
