Role Description :
The Talent Management Coordinator role at Symphony is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in gaining the foundational experience critical to a successful career in human resources. This role plays an important part in the hiring and onboarding phases of the talent lifecycle and will also get exposure to broader talent initiatives. The ideal candidate will have the ability to convey Symphony’s employee value proposition through all interactions with potential and existing employees and who can organize and coordinate multiple initiatives ensuring the candidate and employee experience is positive and impactful.
Responsibilities :
- Source and screen candidates for open positions
- Conduct phone interview screens and schedule interviews
- Effectively liaise with candidates, internal stakeholders, external partners, and team members
- Manage all aspects of the contractor management process, including vendor management, contractor onboarding and offboarding, and accurate data management
- Maintain accurate talent acquisition data and documentation and provide regular reporting updates across teams and to management
- Build and maintain relationships with universities and lead all initiatives associated with cultivating the early career talent pipeline
- Manage all aspects of the firm’s internship program
- Build and maintain relationships with DEIB and community partners to continue to create a diverse and inclusive employee experience and environment
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding
- Manage firm’s internal mobility program
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications :
Degree in human resources management, business management, business studies, or a related field1+ year of experience in human resourcesStrong understanding of human resources best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Google suite including documents, sheets, and slidesSelf-motivated and able to identify and prioritize opportunitiesTenacious and resilientDriven and determined to achieve targets and objectivesAttention to detail and accuracyConfident and persuasive communicatorDemonstrable questioning and listening skillsEffective time management and organizational skillsCIPD certification is a plusCompensation :
