Your newpany is a global manufacturing business with the UK division based in Newbury
Your new role reporting to the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals / accruals / prepayments
- Preparation of management reporting packs and KPIs.
- Weekly P&L accounting to contribution level, epassing variance reporting, analysis and investigation.
- Support preparation of year end statutory accounts.
- Contact for internal and external audits.
- Provide a variety of cost analysis – direct and indirect labour, material usage, overhead analysis by cost centre.
- Standard costing / Bill of Materials maintenance.
- Gross Margin reports and analysis.
- Key person in budgeting and forecasting preparation working with cost centre managers to providing meaningful prediction.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Stock controlling, stock provisions, stock takes
- Capital expenditure appraisals and project tracking
- Oversight of purchase and sales ledgers and credit control activities
What you'll need to succeed ACCA / CIMA or Qualified by Experience you will be an experienced Management Accountant. You will be self motivated and a self starter as well as a good team player.
