Job description

We are looking for a Skilled Tractor Driver that will be performing a wide range of operations in our Root Veg Operation, reporting directly to the Crop manager and will be based at Hainey Farm.

You will be responsible for supporting the following operations :

  • Drilling and planting
  • Irrigation
  • Harvest
  • Operating a variety of farm machinery
  • Carry out any other general agricultural duties as requested
  • Work in line with our group values : Trust, Efficiency, Quality & Expertise and Can-do

Our Ideal Skilled Tractor Driver will :

  • Ability to demonstrate good farming practices in a farming operation
  • Team player - flexible and happy to undertake tasks in all areas to meet the needs of the teams
  • Tractor driving experience
  • PA1, PA2 and PA4 advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Mechanical knowledge would be advantageous
  • An enthusiastic and flexible team player with good interpersonal skills
