The Opportunity

Principal Electrical Engineer to support A800 LV and Small Power design team. Stockton preferred other locations will be considered.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

Essential Task Experience

• In depth knowledge of British Standards and regulations applicable to electrical system design.
• Specification of MV / LV Transformers including validating Vendor designs against requirements at Vendor design and FAT stages.
• Specification of GI / GNI distribution systems including validating Vendor designs against requirements at Vendor design and FAT stages.
• Input to mechanical / process / machine specifications from a electrical perspective.
• Production of electrical engineering deliverables including, calculations including load schedules, cable sizing calculations, electrical equipment data sheets, reports and technical bid evaluations.
• Guide designers in the production of electrical drawings including SLDs, schematics, specifications, models, datasheets, reports, and evaluations.
• Proficient in power modelling software (Trimble, SKM Power tools)
• Knowledge and understanding of schedule constraints and information requirements from other disciplines required for the production of electrical deliverables.
