Field Service Engineer
Perm, £40k-£45 pa DOE, Day Shift, Mon-Fri, 25 days holiday + B.H
SOUTH WEST ENGLAND
I am looking for an experienced Mechanical / Electrical Service Engineer to work for a Chesterfield based company, who due to expansion are looking for Engineers to work in the field and cover the South West of England.
Day to Day tasks for this role will include :
Utilising your solid background in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering to repair and perform maintenance on my clients equipmentFault-finding to the component level, ensuring that systems operate at peak performanceManage stock if required, ensuring smooth operations at the local storage facilityWorking both independently, or as part of a small teamTravel significant distances and occasionally stay overnight away from home to fulfil responsibilitiesBe ready for occasional early starts and late finishes to meet commitmentsAttend quarterly meetings at the head office in DerbyshireTo be successful in this role you must be a qualified Mechanical Engineer with a City & Guilds qualification. Other Key skills required for the role include :
Good Electrical experience as the role is multi-skilledIdeally have a minimum of 5 years Field Service experienceHappy to work outdoors in all weather conditionsBe ready for occasional early starts and late finishes to meet commitmentsAble to stay away from home overnight on some occasionsAttend quarterly meetings at the head office in DerbyshirePossess good communication and customer service skillsWhat will be provided :
Fully equipped company van which can be taken homeFuel CardCompany Uniform and PPEAll tools and equipment needed to complete the roleFull product training will be givenYour core working hours will be 8am to 5pm from Monday to Friday. Some flexibility in this will be required to suit my clients needs. The role is advertised as Permanent with a salary of up to £45k pa Depending on Experience.
