HSQE Manager

Location : Doncaster / Site

Salary : £50,000 - £60,000 Negotiable dependant on experience plus car / van and package

Company Information :

A successful rail infrastructure contractor specialising in track installation & signalling is looking to recruit a HSQE Manager to support their busy team and actively ensure high standards of HSEQ are attained.

To be suitable for the HSEQ Manager role

  • Experience in rail Industry HSEQ (5+ years)
  • NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
  • Internal Auditor
  • Knowledge of accident investigations and reporting procedures
  • A sound knowledge ISO9001, ISO14001 & ISO45001
  • Ability to adapt ideas and approaches to suit changing priorities or solutions
  • Well organised, diplomatic, proactive, assertive and well-disciplined

Preferred Requirements for the HSEQ Manager

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level H&S qualification
  • CMIOSH
  • Lead Auditor
  • IEMA / CQI membership
  • CSCS

    • Main Duties for the HSEQ Manager

  • Provide HSEQ support to Rail Sector projects
  • Assist in the development of HSEQ related documentation including CPP, WPP, TBS, RAMS
  • Delivering reports on safety, quality and environmental performance to the Head of HSEQ
  • Promoting the awareness of HSEQ issues and activities across the projects
  • Receive, review and disseminate HSEQ information
  • Organisation of investigations into incidents and accidents, reporting of conclusions and implement

    • corrective actions as necessary

  • Maintain liaison with Trackwork Clients, Network Rail, Enforcement Agencies and Third Parties on HSEQ

  • Support the Head of HSEQ in developing HSEQ Strategies and maintaining third party accreditations
  • Take stewardship of the internal and external audit program and support area offices in respect to third party HSEQ audits
