SEN Teacher

Protocol Education are working alongside a Newbury based SEND school to appoint a Primary / SEN Teacher to start in January 2025. If you are looking for a new, exciting and inspiring teaching placement, this will be the role for you.

Working hours  Full time. Part Time would be considered

The School

Support students between the ages of 6 and 19 years of age who have a range of social, emotional and mental health needs. The school aim to equip every child with the skills, knowlege and confidence to be successful in their futures. Many children come to the school with very complex needs, communication difficulties and associated challenging behaviour. Staff always look beyond the issues and potential barriers to learning and recognise the innate potential within. The school invests time with each individual child to recognise and understand their learning needs so that we can put in place the right support package.

The Ideal Teacher

The school are seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational, highly motivated, resourceful and enthusiastic Teacher to join its lovely school, to provide an irresistible invitation to learn.

You will need to have an excellent understanding of child development and experience of teaching pupils with SEND. You will need to be a willing and inquisitive learner yourself and have the ability to work as a team with your own class and within the school
