Job description

You will be joining a reputable company in the marine and oil & gas industry. As a Welder / Fabricator you will be involved in a variety of projects, both in the fabrication shop and on-site. It is important to note that a driving licence is required for this position.

Our client is looking for candidates who are proficient in MIG, TIG, and MMA welding processes. However, if you have gained some experience in any of these processes, training and development can be provided. Previous experience in the marine, oil & gas, or offshore industry is highly desirable.

You will be required to undertake 2 x 6G Weld tests on a 2" pipe using TIG process, working with both carbon and stainless steel.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform both welding and fabrication tasks
• Carry out TIG welding on carbon and stainless steel
• Ability to weld other materials is desirable
• Show a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a desire for stability

This is a permanent position with a standard working week of 39 hours, Monday to Friday plus overtime

Assuming you pass the tests, the hourly rate for this role is £19 / h, and overtime will be paid after 39 hours worked at 1.5x and 2x rates.
