Quantity Surveyor - Birmingham

Quantity Surveyor - a leading top tier contractor is searching for a Quantity Surveyor to join the expanding commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to lead the delivery of design and build projects for an award-winning Tier 1 contractor.

They have several projects started including a new build school in Birmingham ( 15m) where the successful candidate would work as the commercial lead alongside the project delivery team.

They have a full order book for 2025 and into 2026 and can offer excellent opportunities for development and progression as the West Midlands region expands over the next 5 years.

Requirements :

  • Experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 building contractor
  • Experience dealing with / managing final accounts
  • Experience managing sub-contractor variations
  • Industry related qualification
  • Responsibilities :

  • Experience on Design & Build projects 5m - 35m
  • Procurement and managing sub-contract packages
  • Dealing with variations and valuations
  • Production of CVRs
  • The Package :

  • Basic salary of 50,000 - 60,000
  • Company Car Allowance ( 5,500)

  • To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as a Quantity Surveyor delivering construction projects ranging from 5m - 20m.
