Assistant Finance Business Partner

30,000- £32,000

Full-time

Remote / occasional travel to Gloucester HQ and Group Business Units required

Our client is a leading and growing national service provider recruiting for an Assistant Finance Business Partner. A newly created home working role with the occasional requirement to make it into their Gloucester HQ and Group Business Units. The successful candidate will work closely with a designated Finance Business Partner and will have the responsibility to look after self-contained business units.

Duties of the role include :

  • Assisting with the preparation of month-end Management Accounts
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets
  • Liaise with on-site operations team on day-to-day costing
  • Carrying out unit performance analysis and assisting with financial modelling projects
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

To be successful in your application you will need to be highly organised and be able to work in set deadlines. You will work well within a team as well as on your own with a great attention to detail.

Ideally you will be AAT qualified (or equivalent) and will have the ambition to study CIMA / ACCA or an equivalent qualification. You will need to have intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables / v-lookups) and the ability to build rapport with both financial and non-financial team members. PowerBI knowledge is an advantage.
