Teaching Personnel is currently collaborating with schools in the Scunthorpe area that have a high demand for Special Educational Needs (SEN) Education Specialists.

As an SEN Education Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to fully engage with and cater to the unique educational needs of one young individual. Your focus will be entirely centered on their specific requirements.

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences, especially those who have effectively connected with young learners in educational settings, assisting them in overcoming learning barriers.

  • Collaborate with children who have SEN and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Engage with young individuals who face various obstacles in their learning journey.

What qualities are we seeking in candidates?

  • A strong commitment to and understanding of safeguarding.
  • Experience in effectively engaging with young individuals, even when they present complex and challenging behaviors.
  • Availability for at least three days a week.
  • Access to personal transportation and the ability to travel within a 15-mile radius.
  • Your working hours will align with school opening times (typically 08 : 30-15 : 30). However, flexibility in terms of workdays is possible. There may be opportunities for half-day shifts, mornings, or afternoons, allowing you to manage your schedule according to your personal commitments.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
