Job descriptionPrevious experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is required. HNC in Childhood Practice or equivalent required. Please do not apply for this job if you do not hold a relevant childcare qualification as your application will be rejected. Knowledge of child development principles and practices Ability to engage and communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive working environment Company events Company pension Employee discount Health & wellbeing programme 8 hour shift No weekends Certificate of Higher Education (required)
Responsibilities :
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in a nursery setting
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive in
- Monitor and observe children's development and progress
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being of each child
- Maintain accurate records of children's daily activities and progress
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and interaction
