Middleweight Designer

Salary : 30,000 - 40,000 GBP
Our client is an exciting boutique agency specialising in shopper marketing, eCommerce campaigns, social output, seasonal retail launch campaigns. Situated in the heart of London's creative hub, Shoreditch, this is a great opportunity for a middleweight digital designer to join a growing team in a freelance to perm capacity to work on clients in the sports, fashion, automotive sectors.

Job spec :
- Utilise your skills in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, and InDesign to create high-quality website assets, e-newsletters, guidelines, and social media content.
- Video editing and animation skills
- You understand how websites function
- Reporting into senior designers and project managers regarding briefs, feedback and workload and at times also be client facing
- Strong technical understanding of whether or not they will be possible to implement
- You’re happy to suggest ideas and push boundaries where appropriate to do so
- Your work is to be to a high standard, attention to detail is key
- Senior members of the design team and the Creative Director will need to be happy with your work before it is sent to the PM
- You work well as part of a team as well as in and in isolation with senior designers and PM’s for support
- When having downtime use initiative to up-skill or ask the rest of the team if there are things you can help on such as B&M campaigns
- You slot seamlessly into the dynamic of our small, close-knit team. You have a close working relationship with members of the wider team and look to foster a strong sense of friendship and community wherever possible
- Design of website assets, e-newsletters, guidelines and social content
- Basic coding is a bonus
- Positive and approachable, someone who is up for contributing to our studio culture
Set up :
WFH x3 days and studio Wednesdays & Thursday, 09 : 30-17 : 30 with lunchbetween 13 : 00-14 : 00
20 days holiday plus usually 2 weeks over Christmas
