PMLD Teaching Assistant

Job description

The role is to start ASAP.

For this role you must :

Have a strong academic background (degree or similar)

Have worked with pupils before in a support / on a 1-2-1 / group basis

This roles purpose is to support PMLD pupils, giving them personal care and challenging behaviour (Nurturing Role)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working in a school – (Ideal)

Previous Primary / SEN education experience (preferred)

Previous PMLD experience – (Ideal)

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)

School experience is NOT needed as long you have a care background or something similar

Full time / part-time Full Time

Hours 08 : 30 3 : 30

Minimum Pay Rate GBP85 (Dependant on experience and qualifications)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST :

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional related references
