Depot Supervisor

We are recruiting for a Depot Supervisor to become part of the management team, reporting to the Depot Manager Based in Southampton for a key engineering company.

The Depot Supervisor Role comes with a salary of up to £50000 once overtime is included, and our client would be looking for a candidate with previous rollingstock supervisory experience. This is working across a 3-week roster including days and nights.

Responsibilities of Depot Supervisor whilst working in the role will include :

• Maintain, service, and repair Wagons in accordance with approved maintenance plans
• Supervise the team to implement the daily work plan that has been assigned
• Coach and assist the fitters in their technical development when required
• Ensure all relevant records for examinations and repairs is correctly completed to company standards through the Electronic Asset Management System
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, identify, and reduce hazards to ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained whilst carrying out your duties
• Be a good communicator, including issuing briefings, reporting issues and actioning
• Maintaining a safe environment and all safety procedures are adhered to
• Provide leadership to your team to create an engaged and motivated workforce
• Carry out IPEs and safety observations to develop team members
