Job description

GI Group are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 driver for our client based in Sheffield (S9) for ongoing work, Mon-Fri.

17.93 per hour

  • Please note, this includes advanced holiday pay

Shifts / Start times

  • 0500-0800 start times
  • 10-12 hours per shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Opportunity to work weekend shifts as extra
  • 2 / 3 Deliveries of cages to Hospitals

    • Main Duties will include :

  • Securing cages
  • Delivering / Collecting cages of Linen
  • prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met
  • Lifting / unloading goods from the vehicle using a tail-lift

    • The Candidate :

  • Have an up to date CPC and TACO
  • Have at least 6 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
  • A positive attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English to adhere to health and safety requirements
  • Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail
