Prospero Teaching are working closely with a Good Ofsted rated Mixed secondary school located in Andover, Hampshire.

The school have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional and inspiring Teacher of English to join a well-established and high achieving department in a School where students are well behaved. Applications from experienced and Early Career Teachers are encouraged and a comprehensive ECT support package would be available if appropriate.

The School believe in the development of the whole person, both socially and academically and always looks to celebrate individual pupil successes and efforts and therefore are looking forward to find people that want to contribute to that.

CONTRACT DETAILS

  • Location – Andover, Hampshire
  • Position – Teacher of English
  • Contract or position start date – September 4th 2023
  • Duration / Likely Duration – Permanent
  • Full time / part time – Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay – Paid to scale
  • Hours – 8 : 30 am – , plus parents evenings and department meetings.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year English teaching experience in the UK
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

    • TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST :

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
