To strengthen their team, the school is now seeking an experienced and committed Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join them from September.

The Role

As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to enhance the learning experience for all pupils. Your role will include supporting lesson delivery, working with small groups and individual students, and contributing to the planning and assessment process. This is a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled HLTA who is passionate about supporting children's development and making a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support, both in and out of the classroom.
• Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Support students’ pastoral and emotional development.
• Prepare learning materials and assist in tracking pupil progress.
• Deliver targeted interventions to pupils with additional needs.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and the wider school staff to promote student achievement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
