Job Description :

McCarthy Stone is looking for a professional Relief Care Assistant to join their team at their stunning estate, Oakfield Court, in Urmston.

Oakfield Court was built by McCarthy & Stone and is designed specifically for assisted retirement living for the over 70s.

Base Salary : £11.58 per hour plus additional pay (see below)

Hours : Flexible

About the role :

As a Relief Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality individual care to residents, supporting their independence and wellbeing. Your duties will include housekeeping, domestic support, assisting with activities, booking appointments, arranging transport, escorting visits, and shopping assistance. Every day will be diverse, offering opportunities to make a positive difference through your people skills.

About you :

You should be a warm, friendly individual, ideally with some experience in care or support settings. A passion for enhancing the wellbeing of older people and teamwork skills are essential. You should be committed to delivering excellent customer service. A QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (Adults) is preferred, but relevant experience and alternative qualifications will be considered.
