Assistant Finance Manager

to join us at our site in Avonmouth to support our new business win. Youll assist in the effective management of the site finance department with all operational support activities including preparation and submission of weekly forecasts, P&L reconciliations, budgeting and period end reporting in compliance with corporate policies and deadlines.This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, the hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08 : 30

per annum

Youll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!GXO are also proud to be an ACMA and ACCA approved employer.What youll do on a typical day : Completion of weekly and month end management accounts to review with the operational management teamProviding detailed analysis to the customer and the provision of monthly reporting packs, together with backing documents to support the financial chargesBuild relationships with key stakeholders and develop a deeper understanding of the operationUse initiative and judgement to support the leadership team in delivering operational excellence, challenging the status quo and delivering maximum benefit to the businessWhat you need to succeed at GXO : Proven experience in a similar management accounting roleCIMA / ACCA studier or AAT qualified or equivalentExperience in building strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholdersFamiliarity with the principles of open book accounting would be beneficialWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
