About the Role

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join an exceptional Primary School in Stockport. This role involves working within Key Stage 1 (KS1) and includes responsibilities for supporting SEND students. Our school has high expectations for both staff and students, fostering a supportive and challenging environment where everyone can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Classroom Support :

Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and activities.Prepare learning materials and manage classroom resources.

SEND Support :

Work closely with SEND students to provide the necessary support.Offer one-on-one or small group assistance to students as needed.

Learning Environment :

Help create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all students.Promote the school's high standards and values through daily interactions.

Requirements

• Qualification : Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience : Previous experience working with KS1 students, particularly those with SEND.
• Skills : Strong communication and teamwork skills.Patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
