Senior Safety Systems Engineer (Rail)

SAFETY SYSTEMS ENGINEER – PERMANENT – EAST MIDLANDS OR GREATER MANCHESTER AREA – SALARY DEPENDANT ON EXPERIENCE

Ceto Talent are working with an Engineering Consultancy with a global presence, who are specialists in systems, engineering and technology solutions for their clients. We are currently recruiting for a Safety Systems Engineer with Rail and either Nuclear or Defence / Aerospace experience to join them on a permanent basis.

You will be a degree educated Safety Systems Engineer who is working at a Senior Engineer level. Your experience will include railway safety systems. You experience will also need to include another safety critical environment such as defence or aerospace or nuclear, as workload will see you working cross dimensionally. You will have an excellent understanding safety systems principals in engineering. You will ideally have worked in a consultancy or similar, but this is not essential.

This position will see you working within a Rail team at the consultancy and is integral to the success of the team. They support on rail infrastructure, as well as rolling stock. The plan is to grow their presence and the rail work will become your main focus, but as they are bidding currently, you will spend some of your week supporting others in the business within your other discipline (defence, aerospace or nuclear).

This is a full-time permanent position. The role can be based in either the East Midlands or the Greater Manchester area, depending on your preferred location. Work is hybrid working and offers a flexible working culture.
