Job summary
As a HR Advisor youwill support the Head of HR in managing the day-to-day HR activities, be partor fully CIPD Qualified with generalist HR experience.
You will support line managers with our people processesthroughout the lifecycle of the employee journey.
You will have highlydeveloped organisational and time management skills as well as excellentinterpersonal and communication skills. You are highly motivated to excel inyour role to provide a comprehensive and effective HR service.
Main duties of the job
As a member of the Badger Group HR function you will managethe day-to-day HR and recruitment operational work at Badger Group using yourknowledge and experience across core HR disciplines. You will work alongside other members of theHR team and managers to ensure that best practices and procedures are adheredto throughout the company.
As a HR Advisor you will support Badger by developing andstrengthening our people processes throughout the lifecycle of the employeejourney in an environment where you will be helping to develop and embed HR and recruitment practices.

Job responsibilities
Provide first line advice and guidance onHR policies and procedures.
Enable managers to reduce sickness absencethrough pro-active management of long and short-term sickness cases with aperson-centred approach as the principal focus.
Provideefficient and effective employee relations casework management processesincluding disciplinary, grievance, bullying and harassment, performance andattendance management. Supportingmanagers, taking part in meetings, formal hearings and producing notes, formalminutes and reports. Ensuring this is compliant with law, policy and goodpractice.
Provide recruitment advice and support to managerswith general recruitment enquiries and support Senior Management to identifyand manage recruitment needs.
Engage with linemanagers to support employees personal development needs are met through appraisalcompletions, inductions, and coaching, mentoring, learning and developmentinterventions.
Provide a timely response to all enquiries whether received byletter, email or telephone and deal with all enquiries sensitively, effectivelyand where necessary escalate to the appropriate person to rectify anyissues / queries accordingly.
Workwith the HR Team to support people management training to up skill managers,and spotting areas for development based on queries received by the HR service.
Tomaintain accurate records of all employment related cases are completed withintimescales and department records updated.
Toundertake specific projects and tasks as directed.
Toattend department and team meetings as appropriate.
