As the Senior Staff Nurse your key duties include :
Provide direct personal care and interventions to Patients / Service Users, without direct supervision, and co- ordinate the care given by colleaguesDeliver high quality, safe nursing care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence which comply with the Nursing and Midwifery (NMC) CodeLeading the delivery of a comprehensive Patient / Service user nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of person centred care in a collaborative way, of both their physical and mental healthcare needs, maintaining the patients / service users rights; supervising junior staff and students, working collaboratively with the MDT and maintaining a safe and therapeutic working environment and accurate recordsThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role :
Minimum of 6-12 months experience post qualifying experienceRelevant clinical experienceRelevant ward / team management experienceDemonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and qualityAbility to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practiseExcellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skillsThe successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £34,992 – £37,455 per annum.
