Stores & Parts Manager (Manufacturing | Heavy engineering) Based in Co. Armagh | Full-Time | Permanent Contact : Conor O'Hagan We're working on behalf of a dynamic and fast-growing manufacturing company in the Manufacturing sector to recruit an experienced Stores & Parts Manager for their site in Co. Armagh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge of engineering equipment, proven leadership skills, and hands-on experience in parts and service operations. You'll be a key player in the continued growth and efficiency of a high-performing operation. Industry Expertise Required - Previous experience with engineering equipment is essential. Impact Role - You'll play a pivotal part in managing the stores and parts function, supporting both internal teams and external customers. Key Responsibilities : Inventory Management : Ensure parts availability and optimal stock levels through efficient inventory control. Procurement & Supplier Management : Source and purchase parts, negotiate pricing, and manage supplier relationships. Order Fulfilment : Process and manage customer and internal orders promptly and accurately. Returns & Warranty : Oversee warranty claims, manage returns, and ensure proper parts handling. Team Leadership : Lead and develop a small but growing support team, including yard and stores operatives. Customer Support : Assist customers and dealers in identifying the right parts, providing expert guidance and support. Reporting & Compliance : Maintain records, generate reports, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Technical Support : Provide internal and external advice on parts specifications and usage. What You'll Need : Essential : Proven experience with engineering equipment (technical and operational knowledge). Strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in inventory systems and general computer literacy. Customer-focused with a solution-driven mindset.
