Contracts Manager - HVAC

Location - Kent (Open to relocation and support provided)

Salary - Up to £75,000

Do have a background in Operations, Contracts, Project Management or Procurement and interested in playing a critical role ensuring operational excellence?

I am currently recruiting a Contracts Manager to oversee and manage the successful execution of projects from the Purchase Order stage through to final delivery, invoicing, and payment. This is a Senior position within a specialist organisation which is crucial in ensuring smooth project delivery, while managing a team of professionals, fostering business development, and ensuring operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will come from a HVAC manufacturing background or from the following industries renewables, marine, nuclear, oil and gas or power generation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Work with Sales and Proposals teams on major projects to understand project costs, design specifications, and customer requirements
  • Support and guide the project team from bid / quote clarification phase through to job handover upon receipt of orders.
  • Oversee and manage the workloads of the Project Management team
  • Ensure all necessary documentation, drawings, designs, work instructions, cost amendments, and invoicing are created and delivered for the successful completion of projects
  • Act as the formal point of contact for clients, addressing queries, issues, complaints, and changes. Resolve potential issues that could delay projects or affect profitability
  • Liaise with senior management to provide regular updates on project progress and financial health

What We’re Looking For :

  • Commercial / Contracts background dealing with the full cycle from purchase order stage through to invoicing and payment
  • Background in HVAC, Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Renewables etc
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Proven background in manufacturing and project execution
