Teaching Assistant – Cambridge – Full time starting ASAP

Prospero Teaching is on the hunt for a Teaching Assistant on a full time basis starting as soon as possible.

About the School and the TA Job :

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Primary Teacher to work with an SEN nurture group in a vibrant primary school in the Cambridge area, where children are enthusiastic and motivated to learn.

  • We are looking for TA’s with either SEN experience or a passion to work with SEN.
  • You will be working with upper KS1 and lower KS2 children.
  • This is a full time role starting ASAP on an ongoing basis.
  • The job will be ongoing supply and could become permanent for the right Teaching Assistant

  • Minimum rate of pay – £80 – £90 per day
  • Experience, Training and Qualifications needed for Teaching Assistant role :

  • Previous experience is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire.
  • TA experience essential
  • ECTs and experienced teachers will be considered.
  • You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.
  • To be eligible to work as a TA through Prospero Teaching you must :

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
