We have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join an established Manufacturing and Production company based in Wigan.
We are seeking an electrically-biased Maintenance Engineer with mechanical experience to join our team.

As one of our skilled maintenance engineers, you will be responsible for :
- Performing fault finding, problem-solving, and planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment
- Responding to internal customer needs to maximise production time
- Conducting hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical jobs
- Working on a variety of machines, including mixing, filling, packaging, heat tunnels, boilers, compressors, conveyance systems and more
- Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvements to promote Health & Safety
- Participate in the inputting of the maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Input to and carry out Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Routines
- Work with equipment suppliers on new equipment and installations
Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 06 : 00 - 14 : 00 and 06 : 00 - 12 : 00 Friday1 week every month 14 : 00 - 22 : 00 Monday to Thursday and 12 : 00 - 18 : 00 FridayYou will need :
Apprentice trained or a formal engineering qualificationExperience as a Maintenance Engineer preferably in a production environmentExperience in Mechanical & Electrical fault findingExcellent skills in planning and organisationKnowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing and Six SigmaYou will receive :
