Working alongside a range of specialist engineers and consultants, you will be joining a collaborative, knowledgeable, highly engaged team who love what they do, and offer a supportive, flexible, and high performing work culture.

In this key and varied role, you can expect to :

  • Represent Hoare lea at design coordination workshops to ensure integration of services
  • Help manage design risk, change control, and technical interfaces across disciplines.
  • Review and monitor the design programme, acting where external deadlines and information requirements are not met (HLE or 3rd Parties)
  • Provide initial high-level technical input and oversight and support design conflicts efficiently. Detail to be led by discipline leads but initial early technical appraisals identifying challenges / constraints.
  • Support the process of compliance with healthcare design standards, regulations, and client specifications. Lead by Cowi but requires close coordination with non-HLE designers.
  • Receive requests from Cowi and the head client and liaise with the HLE UK team to enable responses.
  • Support ongoing Contractor procurement exercise, including potential increased role in acting as a conduit between contractors tendering and the technical teams.
