Quality Assurance Manager - Belfast

Our client is a well established manufacturing company situated near Belfast who are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join the team.

This role will provide Quality / Product Assurance to an approved product portfolio and introduction of new product (NPI), delivering cost effective, efficient solutions to meet customer requirements and business objectives.

As the successful Quality Assurance Manager, you will drive operational / manufacturing excellence, delivering exceptional standard governance including root cause analysis, defect analysis, process improvement, preventative action and process management activities.

You will manage a Team of experienced Quality / Technical Engineers, overseeing internal / external auditing to appropriate standards. You will attend project meetings, reviews and events providing consistent QA expertise and advice.

Criteria :

• 5 years+ experience in a quality role within the manufacturing industry, preferably a large scale assemblyenvironment
• Detailed knowledge of current quality and related working practices and standards.
• Qualified auditor or similar experience.
• Experience of investigating root cause and corrective actions
• Good communicator with strong influencing and persuasion skills
• Strong eye for detail
• Strong disciplined approach to work
• Ability to plan and organise workload to achieve deadlines in line with budgets
• Excellent decision and problem solving skills, using quality tools such as 5 Why and 8D

Salary on offer is in the region of £50-60k + benefits.
