A specialist manufacturer of products to a range of industries including Subsea, Automotive and Agriculture has successfully completed a number of internal improvement projects to make processes throughout the factory more efficient. As a result they have won more contracts and now need an additional Project Engineer to join their team.

Working within a busy but relaxed manufacturing environment, your role will involve liaising with departments across the business, ensuring projects are managed from quotation to delivery.

35,000-£38,000, Monday to Friday days

As a Project Engineer your duties will include –

Working with manufacturing processing data on CAD / CAM systems

Liasing with Toolmakers and assisting with trials.

Helping the sales function with generation of quotations.

Supporting quality to ensure both the products and processes meet strict criteria.

Generation and maintenance of documentation.

To be successful in the role of Project Engineer, the ideal candidate will –

Have experience of working in a manufacturing environment.

Hold a good understanding of machining, with experience of CAD / CAM systems.

Possess good project management skills, time management and be able to comfortably deal with both internal and external stakeholders.

Have exposure to generating quotations / estimate

Have exprience of NPI.
