Job description

Class 2 ADR Driver

Location : Normanton, WF6 1RW

Shifts : Monday - Friday 10am starts, average 8-10 hour shift pattern

Pay Rate : £12.21 per hour

We're looking for full-time, Class 2 Days Drivers to join us at our site in Normanton . This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.

  • Please note ADR is preferred but not essential

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

What you'll do on a typical day :

  • Multidrop deliveries between customer sites, making collections when required.
  • Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
  • Using a hand held scanner and completing relevant paperwork.
  • Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA.

    • What you need to succeed with our client :

  • HGV2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), ADR license.
  • No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
  • A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
  • Multidrop delivery experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
  • A can-do attitude.
