Key Responsibilities :

As the Sales Manager , you will be instrumental in driving the company's sales efforts in the UK and European markets. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Sales Leadership : Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring that sales and margin targets are consistently met.
  • Market Expansion : Identify and cultivate new market sectors and applications to drive growth and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • Proven Sales Expertise : A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, particularly with high-value capital equipment and services.
  • Technical Aptitude : While direct experience with laser systems is not required, you should possess a strong technical acumen and be eager to learn about micromachining technology.
  • Relationship Management : Strong ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships, driving repeat business and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Self-Motivated : A proactive and independent approach, with the ability to manage your own sales pipeline and operate autonomously.
  • International Experience : Experience in managing international sales territories is highly desirable.
  • Performance Objectives :

  • Achieve Sales Targets : Consistently meet or exceed sales targets (£600k Subcon, £400k systems).
  • Accurate Sales Forecasting : Provide precise sales forecasts and maintain a strong prospect pipeline to support future growth.
