They are seeking an experienced and meticulous Manufacturing Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.Manufacturing EngineerPermanent positionDroitwich£40,000 - £50,000 Role Overview : As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and support the full production lifecycle.Key Responsibilities :

• Develop efficient, DFMA-aligned processes. Conduct PFMEAs, create control plans, and optimize production layouts.
• Provide technical support, resolve issues on the floor, and maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Implement quality systems, perform root cause analysis (8D), manage NCRs, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Select and maintain manufacturing equipment, and develop necessary tooling and fixtures using lean principles.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma to minimize waste, conduct cost analysis, and collaborate on procurement efficiency.
• Maintain SOPs, process documentation, and generate performance reports to guide improvements.
