Pulse Nursing have fantastic opportunities for block bookings for Scrub Nurses in Nottinghamshire for urology and breast surgery.
You will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment and providing surgical instruments and supplies to the surgical team.
Pulse Nursing are offering rates from £26- 29.59 per hour.
Scrub Nurse responsibilities include :
- Assisting with gowning and gloving of the surgical team and maintaining a sterile field.
- Anticipating the surgeon’s needs and maintaining an organised surgical field.
- Coordinating with the circulating nurse to ensure the availability of necessary equipment and supplies during the surgery.
- To scrub for TURP / TURBT, stenting ureters and laser work, circumcision, hydrocoeles, Instillation of mitomycin.
- Be able to wear lead gown for a whole day.
