Job Description

Wise Employment are looking to recruit experienced Scaffolders for an immediate start in Central Plymouth for ongoing temporary assignments until possibly the end of the year or even longer.

Working Monday to Friday 730am to 4pm with lots of overtime available also so fabulous earning potential!

Excellent rates of pay as detailed below depending on your ticket,

Part 1 - £11.96 Monday to Friday

14.21 Saturdays

15.21 Sundays

Part 2 - £18.10 Monday to Friday

25.66 Saturday

31.59 Sunday

Advanced £19.60 Monday to Friday

29.72 Saturday

36.58 Sunday

Scaffolders are required who will be responsible for erecting, dismantling and altering scaffolding as part of the scaffolding team on site.

Main duties to include but are not limited to

• Selecting serviceable scaffolding tubes, boards and fittings and ensuring they are used correctly and safely
• Select, inspect, assemble and install prefabricated beams into and onto scaffold structures
• Erect scaffolding safely and correctly
• Install spurs and rakers within the correct operating angles
• Attach check fittings, droppers and puncheons in the correct positions to scaffolds
• Install anchor ties and other specialist fixings to the manufacturers recommendations
• Select, space and install the right amount of ties to restrain sheeted and unsheeted scaffolds in exposed areas.
• Inspect basic scaffolds prior to handover

The successful candidate must hold a valid CISRS basic scaffold card in order to do the job which is equivalent to NVQ Level 2. You must also pass baseline security clearance.

You must also have knowledge of Layher / Cuplock / Haki / Plettac system scaffold as well as a clear understanding of safe practice.
