Job description

People at Pret work hard, have fun, learn a lot and really grow. Right now, we’re looking for a passionate Change Manager to join us.

Pret is an international on-the-go food and drink retailer founded in 1986. Our purpose is to make every day a little bit brighter, through organic coffee, freshly prepared food, and exceptional customer service to millions of people. Pret runs hundreds of shops across the UK, France, USA and Hong Kong with additional shops run by franchise partners around the world.

The Role

The Change Manager works with Market and Global functions to understand and shape strategic needs and opportunities that will deliver our growth plan and land successfully across Pret. Working in the Transformation team, you will be the primary 'gateway' into the investment pipeline for senior stakeholders for new initiatives and change requirements. You build strong relationships and business knowledge to understand what outcomes we need to achieve, how we will measure them and who, across the wider business, will be needed to support the change. Together, with the wider team, you help shape initial ideas and support business case development by bringing together inputs from all impacted functions.

You work with Programme and Project Leads to define the scope, costs, benefits and deliverables. Where relevant, you will also lead pieces of discovery to map out what a future programme or project will look like in preparation for a strategic prioritisation decision.

Once budget has been approved and work is in flight, the Change Manager will support delivery with establishing governance, tools, templates, and reporting best practice to ensure the wider business is always aware of progress and impacts of the work. Through the lifecycle of the delivery, they will ensure rigorous benefits review and cost tracking activities are completed to ensure the business is getting value for any investments made. Finally, they will also support project launches and ensure our shops and Support Centres have sufficient coaching, training and guidance to land the change successfully.

They are a key point of contact in ensuring colleagues across the business understand the ways of working, opportunities and constraints to deliver the growth plan.
