This is a specialist care home which provides residential and nursing support to adults aged 18 years and older who have a brain injury
- To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RGN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin
As a Nurse your key duties include :
Deliver prescribed care to a defined group of patients that reflect their individual needsAssess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer / family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse. This includes the evaluation and review of these plans, with the patient / Service User, on a frequent basis, that is reflective of their needsContribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the Care teamBuild relationships and effectively communicates and engages with external professionals and stakeholdersAccurately communicate with, observe and engage with residents / Service Users in order to assess need and evaluate progressUnderstand and participate in relevant quality improvement processes and clinical governanceProvide accurate information about care in an accessible format to residents / service Users and their familiesThe following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role :
Skilled in general nursing with the ability to prioritise effectivelyWillingness to embrace new learningCompassionate advocate for patients with complex physical and cognitive impairmentAbility to write comprehensive care plans and reportsConfident in problem solvingClinical experience including leadership skills and an ability to mentor junior staffThe successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £33,416 – £38,705 per annum.
