You will be joining a design and build contractor based in Shropshire operating in the water industry. This establishedpany has a strong pipeline of work with multiple high-profile water authorities across the UK and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to join their delivery team.
This is a full-time permanent position based in their Shropshire office.
Your new role
As Project Manager, your responsibilities will include :
- Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through topletion and handover
- Creating and maintaining project programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
- Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
- Coordinating with subcontractors and the client regarding health and safety inspections and audits
- Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained
- Ensuring projects arepleted on time, within budget and to specified quality.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have :
Proven successful experience overseeing the delivery of water (clean and / or waste) infrastructure works from inception through topletionUnderstanding of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and health and safetySound leadership and interpersonal skillsFull UK driving licence.What you'll get in return
