Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Supplier and Contracts Manager for an initial 4 month contract with option to extend on a rate of c.£400 / day (Outside IR35). This role will be based in Glasgow.
Responsibilities :
- Assist the organisation move to a new ICT multi-supplier delivery model by the 1st April 2025 and transition the current ICT provider into a new modern service provision in their contract extension.
- Significant experience in a commercial environment.
- Highly skilled at understanding complex contracts and managing suppliers and their obligations.
- Skilled at working collaboratively in a complex environment and driving performance achievement and improvements.
- Sound understanding of intricate commercial positions and financial information.
- Data-driven mindset of service excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to analyse trends to drive improvements.
- A confident communicator that can demonstrate close attention to detail and convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Skilled in managing complex relationships at a senior level.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Ability to take a proactive and collaborative approach to working within a complex and changing environment, influencing and working alongside a range of diverse stakeholders and external service providers.
- Experience of contract management specifically in an IT environment.
